Que Pasa? @ Melkweg

Yesterday the boys went out!

As Bernardo is going away for some time to California, he wanted to go out with his friends on the last night before the trip. I promised myself I would go easy on clubbing from now on so I was not up for it, but he is one of my best friends! So I joined them (only later to find out after all he is going only for a week! Damn, we're using any excuse now to go out he!).

Anyway, I called DJ Eduardo, from Que Pasa, to put us on the guestlist of last night's party (thanks Edu!). Although a bit empty in the beginning, the party started getting better after some point, but I spent the whole time by the cocktail bar, where I met these two nice bartenders! The guy (who I forgot to ask the name) was fun to talk with and really helpful on keeping my Mojito glass always full. The girl, who I think I remember her name being Caroline but am not sure (if you read this, please correct me in the comments section please, and forgive me!), was, besides really cute, also cheerful and spontaneous... irresistible :-)

Bernardo, Paulo and Knowledje were dancing the whole time in the middle of the dance floor, but at a certain point they went away to Sugar Factory. I stayed a little bit longer in Melkweg, but later also decided to go home.

And today I feel great! Not only because I had fun yesterday, but also because I behaved and got home on time to sleep and be ready for work. So nice!

Tonight I will go out again, but Saturday night I'm definitely staying at home. After all, next weekend will be a blast anyway: my monthly Casino Royale party is approaching and promises to be an evening full of crazyness and loads of fun fun fun fun! :-)

Night-out with true friends

Its always so cool to hang out with your best friends! At moments like these I feel I must be special, to have such special friends!

We drinked and we danced. We cheered and we laughed. You guys are really special to me! Paulo, Roland, Tinne and Bernardo... what would I ever do if you were not part of my life!

Also a special thanks to DJ Eduardo, who put us on the guestlist of "Que Pasa?". Unfortunately he didn't play this time... hope he will the next one, his music is vital for us, without him a lot of us would simply stop enjoying the party, as he is the master! :-)

But... que pasa?

Last night, after my father went to bed since he was tired, without any plans suddenly I found myself getting out of the apartment at midnight to meet with Paulo, Bernardo, Gledison and Carla (with a couple of friends).

Even though no exact time was arranged, we all arrived exactly at the same moment at Melkweg, which was cool!

After that... well, I think the photos can describe themselves what happened... madness! Crazyness! And a lot, loads, of fun! Going out with the guys is always fun-garanteed. To include Carla in it, its the perfect recipe! Carla is amazing, I really like her a lot, if anyone thinks I'm a party-lover, they should spend 5 minutes with Carla... I'm nothing compared to this woman, she rocks!

The evening was so much fun that I even became friends with the bartenders (the girls, of course)... it is always nice to spend an evening where all you experience is sharing positive energy and getting it back to you in double... a smile and a good mood can make wonders, believe me!

About me

"I'd seen the light. It was this glaringly obvious blind realization, like pure truth! And it wasn't about anyone in particular, but about people in general. I realized (...) there is no such thing as THE one... It's more about mind-bogling whole hell of a lot of potential ones. Although that should be conforting, it's actually pretty terrifying. We'd all have to kick back and wait for some magical force to show us who we should spend the rest of our lifes with. But the truth is... there isn't a lightning-bolt that slaps you on the ass and tells you to pick this person over all others! If anything... it's like the rain. Rain falls all the time... sometimes you're prepared for it, sometimes you're not. Independent where you are when it hits, you either get caught in it or you don't. (In fact, most of us usually try like hell to avoid it.) You might miss the bus, you might catch the bus. Maybe you remembered your umbrella, maybe you didn't. No big science. Just random torrential bursts of opportunity. And that's the most fate can do. The rest... is up to us!"
