Cape Verde
I know, I know... the last months of 2006 were so hectic that I gradually posted less and less at this blog. The events continued every month, one better then the other, lots of meetings with friends, dinners, nights-out, preparing my trip to Cape Verde, and a new girlfriend which was about to leave also for a couple of months to Brazil (and who I'm missing too much!). As I was already lazy with posting, then I totally forgot to do it, I just didn't had the energy. I will write more often now, but am not making any promises, as I failed them in the past already...
Nevertheless, I just came back from a wonderful vacation in Cape Verde! I haven't been there in 13 years, so a lot has changed, but my family is, and apparently will always remain, the same!
If I start talking about it, this post will be really loooong. All I'll say for now is that I enjoyed the peacefulness of Sal and Sao Vicente islands, as well as the people there, marvelous and always friendly! The beaches, the clean-green-22-degree ocean waters, the everlasting clean-blue-sunny skies, and its moonlight-full-of-stars counterpart, all were a constant energy refill I had available at all times!
I think you can get a good picture by looking at my Cape Verde photo set!
I have to thank a lot of people for their hospitality, but a special thanks go to my sister and my father, who really made a big effort to have me enjoying every moment, my grandfather and his wife Dores, who are like real parents to me, and my aunt Ailine and uncle Tony, whose help was unforgettable!
I will never forget these weeks I've spent there... morabeza forever!
