One month of updates... puffff

Its amazing how sometimes your lazyness, or busy life, distracts you from what you like to do the most. I love having this website updated, and letting everyone know what is going on with me, specially all my friends and family in Cape Verde, Portugal, Brazil, France, etc., etc... the problem is that lately I've not been able to keep this updated, but I still get some hits, so I guess some of you never give up on this website... for you, thanks! :)

Lately I've been enjoying life my own way, and planning ahead what is going to happen in the next months until the end of the year.

First of all, I have to do this here and for everyone to know: thanks Paulo! Thanks and thanks! You have been an amazing true friend since we've met, and I always say you are one of the few friends I'd put my hand on fire for! And you know I always find a way to compensate all the trust you put on me (who knows, already this weekend, but whatever it is it will never compare to what will happen January! Shhhhhhh... shut up Vitor!). Respect, dude!

After the brother situation night, I also enjoyed some more really nice evenings. Again, no need to go on details here, I'll just post some photos and you be the judge (click on the event names to check all photos for that event):

Jucelia's Birthday was a crazy night-out! She had reserved the top floor of Zebra, and even before midnight there were already a lot of empty bottles on the tables! We all got really drunk and things slipped out of the tracks later in the evening (who'd guess I'd come in Jimmy Woo with two lesbians I had just met?!? And how did I kiss one of the most pretty girls I've ever met? And how was it possible to go into "Que Pasa?" for free?). Other cool things that evening were meeting by surprise with our French friends at "Que Pasa?" and also the fact that me and Paulo were out by ourselves, something which had not happened for months!

The 4th Edition of Casino Royale was an amazing success! Besides packed, the air-conditioning seems to be working just fine now, and everyone had a blast! I got completely lost with so many known people present at this event, even Maike (who graced us with her lightning presence) told me she wouldn't want to know how is it to be my girlfriend... when I went to have a drink with her I think it took almost 40 minutes until that was possible, because everyone we passed-by wanted to talk a little bit with me. Now, I find that cool, although her words made me think about it, I believe she is right... damn! Can't I really have a girlfriend? snif snif...

Once again BED party at Arena was awsom! I planned to go there with Knowledge, Bernardo and Leigh, but before that I got a surprise call from beautiful Marcia who wanted to go dancing that night. We all had a blast, danced the night away like crazy and I just hope someday I can remember all that happened (some censored photos are not available). The dancers of this event were crazy and really funny, Knowledge sang beautifully and kept the crowd hot and steamy... I have to give it to Marlon: you are the bomb, this party is definitely on my list of favourites!
A good surprise this night was Jan-Joost, one of the partners of Paulo, who I didn't allow to step away from us, and who I bet won't forget this evening, he was having a lot of fun dancing!

Also another event to never forget, was the triple-birthday party I organized for my friends Rodrigo-the-King, Paula-the-sweetest and Cabelo-the-wildest. We reserved the whole top-floor of Zebra, and before 23:30 had already more then 120 people having wild-crazy-fun! I also let myself loose that evening, and only the ones present know what happened. Besides kissing too much around, I danced really crazy and with really nice company, and was even stopped at the street by the police just to find out one of the police-men was actually an old friend of mine who just wanted to tease me ;-)

Me and Paulo hired a professional photographer to register the night, which I think was a really cool idea (Kenzo: you did an amazing job!). Also really nice were the two dancers, besides sexy, hot and really good on the pole, they brought an extra shine to what was already a successful party. Thanks to Barry for arranging this, and I hope to get the pleasure of doing this more often... after all, anything for my true friends!

About me

"I'd seen the light. It was this glaringly obvious blind realization, like pure truth! And it wasn't about anyone in particular, but about people in general. I realized (...) there is no such thing as THE one... It's more about mind-bogling whole hell of a lot of potential ones. Although that should be conforting, it's actually pretty terrifying. We'd all have to kick back and wait for some magical force to show us who we should spend the rest of our lifes with. But the truth is... there isn't a lightning-bolt that slaps you on the ass and tells you to pick this person over all others! If anything... it's like the rain. Rain falls all the time... sometimes you're prepared for it, sometimes you're not. Independent where you are when it hits, you either get caught in it or you don't. (In fact, most of us usually try like hell to avoid it.) You might miss the bus, you might catch the bus. Maybe you remembered your umbrella, maybe you didn't. No big science. Just random torrential bursts of opportunity. And that's the most fate can do. The rest... is up to us!"
