The successfull List !

Awsom! Awsom! Awsom!

Club NL

The second edition of the List party was such a success! While Club NL was already crowded, even more then the 1st edition, late in the evening there was still a long queue outside the door. A lot of people wanted to get in but unfortunately had to be denied due to being so busy inside. This party is becoming really popular.

DJ Timothy Watt

DJ Jani

The DJs were fantastic again, controlling perfectly when to raise the level and when to maintain it. Robert, Timothy, Jani, Mitchel... you guys rock!!!

Mary and Masha

Mary

Masha

The dancers (which I picked myself) were astonishing. Masha and Mary, besides really sexy with their outfits, distracted everyone when performing, they were irresistible and stole most of the show on every set.

Roberta

Flavia

For myself, it is always a pleasure to see so many of my friends present there. Although the core was busy in Poland, I was busy with a lot of other friends who could join this event. A lot of nice people. A lot of beautiful people...

The sisters with no mercy!

Vitor with Vitoria

As soon as the photographer provides them to me, I'll post the professional photos, so check back again later!

Brazilian seducement...

... and Russian temptation!

Be sure, there will be another edition. Until then, there will also be other parties to meet!

Is your name on the list?

Tonight is a big night! The 2nd Edition of "My name is on the List" is coming and it continues to exceed our expectations! An incredible amount of people have subscribed to be on the list!

We have setup some special surprises for tonight, and considering we'll celebrate Robert Feelgood's 30th birthday bash, the pieces are all set for a successfull evening!

I can't wait for this evening to arrive, am feeling impatient! Hope you registered for the party, otherwise you'll be missing out on a fantastic time...

See you later, if you're in Amsterdam and feel tonight the ground shacking, be sure its from Club NL!

Ehr!!! What's up, Doc?

This last weekend I decided to do something extravagant (at least to me): I stayed at home!

Having all these events going on, and always a lot of people willing to go out and have a lot of fun, calling me every weekend... although it gives me a good feeling, it also makes me forget about resting. Can't remember the last time I stayed in on a Saturday (I think it was with Suzy, mid-March), so while resting at home I had conflicting feelings.

Nevertheless, it was the best thing I could have done. A weekend of rest has made me more aware of my surroundings and better equipped to start a new week. Only my colleagues know I have to apply more efforts at the office, big projects are about to start and we still have small tasks to finish before then.

Also, besides work, I'll be busy this week and the next one setting up the "my name is on the list" party at Club NL. It is finally coming at the 27th of this month, and hopefully this second edition will be as successful as last time!

Besides all that, other things have been going on:
  • I finally moved the last box from the old apartment to the new one (thanks Pedro and Claudia for the help!). Nothing more relates me with the old place. I will miss it a lot, but living in this new apartment has been great and promises a lot of unforgettable memories.
  • I still don't have internet at the new place. UPC has, as always, messed up. Besides not showing up at the agreed time, they never called me back again. After waiting a week, I finally called them to find that all the services with me were canceled! (what the f...!). At least that means I'm getting a new contract, which is cheaper although with the same services, and actually it is more simple to execute then moving. Trust me on this, if you move to a new place and you are a customer of UPC, it is better to cancel your current affairs with them and get a new contract! Faster and cheaper, what more can you ask for? I even took the opportunity to sneak in Digital Television with the new contract!
  • Paulo, who is enjoying a really nice period of his life but I cannot talk about it, finally got crazy and just bought a new Vespa! I went this weekend with him to make him company while choosing which model/color/extras... it should be delivered in 2 to 3 weeks, and will be surely fun to see him moving around the city with his new ride!
  • Suzy, after some interesting experiences in Belo Horizonte, is now at Salvador where I'm sure she'll have an amazing time. I miss her really bad, but want her happy with all she's doing so I'm crossing my fingers so that everything goes as, or better then, her expectations.
  • Rodrigo, Paulo and Gledison, my crazy party-partners , are going to Poland next week. Too bad I cannot join them, this trip sounds promising! They will leave me here alone, so I have to find interesting things to do... oh well, there will be for sure :-)
  • My father is coming in the beginning of June for two weeks. Although we can only get along for a couple of days, I haven't seen him for some time already so I trust it will be good to be with him again (I'll try not to argue with him much this time, but we all know how hard that is sometimes!).
  • My sweet nephew Lucas is about to be one year old, and I'm sad to say that I'm not able to be with him then! I haven't been with him yet, and am missing all his early days... hopefully I'll be able to visit him in July or August, as I cannot delay this anymore!
  • I planned a trip to the Black Sea with Rodrigo (and maybe Paulo will join us), in August. We are going to enjoy a nice sun at Odessa, while looking at the sea with our sunglasses and drinking cocktails, and have fun at what Rodrigo describes as the city where he experienced the best parties ever in his life (and if Rodrigo says something like that, it must be true!).

For now, this is it... I'm going to work a bit more, and hopefully get out of the office in time to enjoy the beautiful weather that Amsterdam has been giving us for the last week (which they say will change tomorrow, unfortunately).

Remember, keeping your smile and a positive attitude will surround you, and everyone you meet, with positive energy! And most of the times, this is the only thing you need to enjoy one of those days where everything "coincidently" goes alright :-)

Dreaming with Suzy

Caught in the vein
headed for the heart of pain.
Memories and tears remain,
and an old photograph of you and I,
I know its not much but it gets me by.

Life turns another page
but I don't feel lonely cuz I'm numb from pain.
Your voice on the phone don't sound the same.

I try to sleep late just to pass the day,
It's a waste of time so I find a way
To hold you in my dreams,
sometimes its all I need.
Someday you won't be so far from me...
'Till that day, you'll be the girl of my dreams.

Here's to the nights
I thought I'd never miss.
Smiles that were taken for granted
and the taste of your last kiss.

The grief in our eyes
as we tried to hold back our goodbyes,
feels like Im raining inside.

But you're my blue skies,
my perfect little lullaby.

If times get rough
All I have to do is try
To hold you in my dreams,
some times its all I need.
Someday you won't be so far from me
'Till that day, you'll be the girl of my dreams...

BED party at Arena

Saturday is always a great day... you know you have the whole morning to do your essential stuff (not me, though, I haven't seen Saturday morning for a long time!) and still enjoy the afternoon relaxing and preparing for the evening out with your friends! And all this having in mind that Sunday is still there, waiting to provide you with more relaxing time! I just love weekends! Who doesn't, right?

Robbert and Alessandra

Marjolein and Paulo

with Knowledge

Yesterday I went out with Paulo, Marjolein, Robbert and Alessandra. We went to Arena, to meet with Claudia and Knowledge, who were working at the BED party.

one of the dancers (with her irresistible look!)

with Alessandra

with Marjolein

The party itself was so great!!! Music was top, dancers were irresistible, in both rooms, and the crowd was awsom: lots of girls going around, flirting and teasing with their dance moves (Suzy, Suzy... I need you!!!), while I was proud to be with Marjolein and Alessandra, who were two of the most cute girls at the party!!! I'm so glad they are my friends! ;-)

cute Carla

Another surprise was Carla, the sweet-cute-and-crazy portuguese girl, friend of Claudia. We danced a lot together, and it was again unforgetable to be around her. This girl rocks!

crazy Carla

The Crew

At the end, some of Knowledge's friends showed up, these are all guys who came from different backgrounds then me, but with whom I feel really good with, specially since we have the same origin: Cape Verde!

There is one crioule word to describe how I feel nowadays: morabeza! (if you know what it means, you definitely know the cultural background I grew up with!).

Friday night at Club NL

I had so much fun this last weekend, with Paulo and Rodrigo! It is as if we agreed to go crazy together this last weekend, and see where that lead to.

with Flavia and Tarcy

with beautiful Di!

Mascha !

Friday night we went to Club NL, where Suki had arranged the VIP table for us. We invited Flavia, Tarcy (who is finally back from Brazil and ready to party!), and a couple of Rodrigo's russian friends, Mascha and Di. I was really curious how Club NL is on a normal Friday night!

I'm not going to disclose any details on how the evening was, but I can at least let my sweet Suzy know that I behaved properly (you'd be proud baby!)! But I can only say that about myself... the rest of the group went completely wild!

with Rodrigo and Paulo

Besides consuming two whole bottles of vodka, and too many colas, we managed to do our own party at the VIP table, with huge success! I also learned from Di how to drink vodka the russian way (which killed me immediately at the beginning of the party). But nothing like learning from a true russian (specially when she is so beautiful!).

with Rick

I have to thank Suki, for having arranged the VIP treatment, and Rick who made always sure we were happy with the service!

Really nice also was to see Rebecca, unfortunately only at the end, who came with us to the after-party at our place. First, at the street, she marveled us with her poi show (tried to have photos, but they were not ok). Then she came with us for some beers! Sorrry Rebecca, for all the crazyness ok? ;)

Lucy Lee

Yesterday night, without any plans, I met with Marjolein just for a drink at Leidseplein. We had one of the best margaritas I've ever tasted, and a caipirufa (a different way to make caipirinha, where you add also grapes). They were delicious!

And being with Marjolein is also great, we have become really good friends. It feels nice to have a girl that I can confide my thoughts and trust her, specially when my dear Suzy is so far away (I miss you so much, baby)...

Afterwards, we could not stop it. We went straight to the "Lucy Lee" party and danced to Goodgrip and Timothy Watt's grooves! Also, Suki was always around and we shared a lot of fun! (but... where was Robert?...)

Haven't I said this week that I was going to take it easy now? It doesn't look so ;-)

Waiting list

So I've been to the doctor and the news were not that great.

They now know what is wrong with me, and I have to go through another operation. There are two possible scenarios, and they are betting on the first one, which is not so complicated. If they find later that I have the second scenario, then another operation will be quite serious.

This time, though, should be simple: go there early in the morning, have the surgery and, if I feel alright, I might be at home the same evening.

But I have to wait for my turn on the waiting list. It could take until 2 to 3 months, but when called I have to be ready to go in the next day if necessary.

Well... I'll just hope it comes as soon as possible... until then, I'll just wait... and wait...

About me

"I'd seen the light. It was this glaringly obvious blind realization, like pure truth! And it wasn't about anyone in particular, but about people in general. I realized (...) there is no such thing as THE one... It's more about mind-bogling whole hell of a lot of potential ones. Although that should be conforting, it's actually pretty terrifying. We'd all have to kick back and wait for some magical force to show us who we should spend the rest of our lifes with. But the truth is... there isn't a lightning-bolt that slaps you on the ass and tells you to pick this person over all others! If anything... it's like the rain. Rain falls all the time... sometimes you're prepared for it, sometimes you're not. Independent where you are when it hits, you either get caught in it or you don't. (In fact, most of us usually try like hell to avoid it.) You might miss the bus, you might catch the bus. Maybe you remembered your umbrella, maybe you didn't. No big science. Just random torrential bursts of opportunity. And that's the most fate can do. The rest... is up to us!"
