5th Casino Royale a success!

Only the ones present at the event really know what I mean by a successful party!

Besides a huge and nice friends group celebrating Paulo's 6th year in Amsterdam (he came here coincidently on the 30th of September 2000, so it is really and precisely 6 years), the Mansion was filled with gorgeous and friendly people!

I started by meeting with Nuno, one of my cousins from Portugal who was here this weekend (and will come more often to Amsterdam in the next months), and then headed to a nice pre-party dinner at the Mansion itself with Robert Feelgood, Jani, Timothy Watt (with his sweet and beautifully stunning girl). I don't know if you know, but I really love the food there, a mix of several oriental cuisines... and if you ask my colleague Rachel, who also had dinner there, she will confirm it! Recommended, definitely!

Then it took a while until everyone started to come to the party... I don't know why everyone ignores me when I say the best time to arrive is at 23:00, because afterwards it gets really crowded... the result was, of course, after 23:30, a long queue of people the whole night! I only have to apologize everyone who, at a certain moment, had to wait 30 minutes outside due to problems with the wardrobe. I really appreciate your patience, and be sure this won't happen again next time.

Nevertheless, everything was sorted out and we had another event we won't forget! Besides all our friends who got to join the guestlist, we had tons of others who actually paid to be able to cheer and dance at our event... and what I'm most proud of is that we had a perfect crowd: women were gourgeous, stunning and irresistible, and men were cheerful, well-behaving and respectfull.

The DJs, both upstairs and downstairs, were top-top-top, as always, keeping everyone shaking to their rythms, the gambling tables were always busy the whole night (with several of you smiling with free drinks and even 200 Euros dining vouchers), the bartenders were carefull and thoughfull when preparing those delicious cocktails, and the general mood was really festive!

You should book your agenda for next time, as this has become really an event not to miss... 28th of October, with more entertainment then even this last time, I want to see you there.

About me

"I'd seen the light. It was this glaringly obvious blind realization, like pure truth! And it wasn't about anyone in particular, but about people in general. I realized (...) there is no such thing as THE one... It's more about mind-bogling whole hell of a lot of potential ones. Although that should be conforting, it's actually pretty terrifying. We'd all have to kick back and wait for some magical force to show us who we should spend the rest of our lifes with. But the truth is... there isn't a lightning-bolt that slaps you on the ass and tells you to pick this person over all others! If anything... it's like the rain. Rain falls all the time... sometimes you're prepared for it, sometimes you're not. Independent where you are when it hits, you either get caught in it or you don't. (In fact, most of us usually try like hell to avoid it.) You might miss the bus, you might catch the bus. Maybe you remembered your umbrella, maybe you didn't. No big science. Just random torrential bursts of opportunity. And that's the most fate can do. The rest... is up to us!"
