Saturday part 3 - BED party at Arena !

Although Saturday was a messy day, it kind had a nice ending. I can only say: Wow! Wow! Wow!

I went alone to Arena, and my dearest friend Claudia had put me on the guestlist. After a quick walk around, I managed to find Goodgrip just before he started MCing in one of the dance rooms. I really like this guy, he is also a DJ and I wish he could play at my next birthday party (I'm actually going to invite him, who knows...).

Me with Goodgrip

As I didn't know anyone besides the people working or playing there, initially felt I would not be able to enjoy the party... boy, was I wrong! Claudia told me about this Spanish friend of hers, Ana, who is a crazy party girl and was also alone there. Of course, thanks to Claudia I met Ana not much later and really could see why Claudia liked her so much!

Me with Ana

Ana is this kind of girl who likes a party but just wants to enjoy it at its fullness, instead of being like any other girl there who is just trying to find a guy! Exactly the same attitude as me, although it is nice to meet other people I can't understand why it all has to be about flirting... I just want to have fun dancing! Immediately me and Ana felt confortable with each other and danced a lot together (oh boy, she can dance also!).

MC Knowledge !

But an amazing thing happened while dancing at the main dance room: Knowledge (a good portuguese friend of mine) was MCing there, and he surprised me by saying my name several times at the microphone, for the whole dance floor to listen, while pointing at me! I'm not like that, but felt like a star!

After some double shots of tequilla with Ana, when we came back to the dance floor, Knowledge called us to go to the stage and be there with him and the DJs. So cool! Dancing at the dance floor from the stage is something else, a new experience! Besides confortable, I don't know how many women smiled or winked one eye at me trying to flirt! Even though I was dancing with Ana! This kind of attitude, although flattering, is a bit distasteful... why do I get so many flirting invitations just because I'm at the stage? I mean, I'm still the same as I was at the normal dance floor! Gee...!

A bit later, Knowledge took us backstage! There we got the pleasure of looking at Ana's tatoos (beautiful!), and also at Knowledge's (so so cool!). When coming back to the stage to dance a bit more, Claudia joined us which was also awsom! I wish Claudia could have more time free, I really feel good when she's around!

Afterwards, we danced until the end of the evening, like crazy! You should check the photo album to understand really how amazing it was! This was one of the best parties I've been at, thanks to a nice company, amazing music and a good vibe!

About me

"I'd seen the light. It was this glaringly obvious blind realization, like pure truth! And it wasn't about anyone in particular, but about people in general. I realized (...) there is no such thing as THE one... It's more about mind-bogling whole hell of a lot of potential ones. Although that should be conforting, it's actually pretty terrifying. We'd all have to kick back and wait for some magical force to show us who we should spend the rest of our lifes with. But the truth is... there isn't a lightning-bolt that slaps you on the ass and tells you to pick this person over all others! If anything... it's like the rain. Rain falls all the time... sometimes you're prepared for it, sometimes you're not. Independent where you are when it hits, you either get caught in it or you don't. (In fact, most of us usually try like hell to avoid it.) You might miss the bus, you might catch the bus. Maybe you remembered your umbrella, maybe you didn't. No big science. Just random torrential bursts of opportunity. And that's the most fate can do. The rest... is up to us!"
