What a nice start of the weekend!
Friday afternoon I had to leave work rushing not to be late for the Kick-off party, and I ended up forgetting my cellular phone at the office. You can't imagine (I couldn't also, until now) how dependent I am on this small thing! Actually, only this weekend I realized that, without it I could not do anything I had planned to do!
Anyway, my Friday night started with sweet Suzy coming to my place, and we headed off to the Okura Hotel (one of the nicest and most famous hotels in Amsterdam). At the entrance, still outside the Hotel, there was a 3-man band playing, dressed in colourful comic clothing. When crossing the entrance door, there was a men dressed like the Johnny Walker guy but in full black-and-white.
When going inside, it was amazing to see so many colleagues, with their partners, all ready to enjoy a fun evening! Since I knew a lot of them, it was messy at the beginning, saying hi to everyone while seeing at a glance more and more known colleagues, everyone looking fabulous! It was also really cute to introduce Suzanne to all of them... she is this kind of amazing woman who immediately talks with everyone and feels confortable doing that! I didn't had to worry at all with her, I noticed she was also having fun herself!
After the speech start, we had sushi and a lot of delicious things to try, warm and cold, all tasting like "I want more!". Also, the desserts were criminal! This Hotel really provided a one-of-a-kind service, congrats to the chefs and the team that was able to serve us all drinks the whole evening!
Another nice memory was to see so many people dancing! Gee... these were my colleagues, that I always see seriously concerned about their tasks at the office, now here at the dance floor dancing with their arms up, turning around, screaming the lyrics with the band...!
The party was scheduled to be over at 00:30, so afterwards me and Suzy went to Que Pasa, to meet up with Robert and Nic (two basketball players who make me look really short). It was also a lot of fun! Dj Eduardo always smashing at the table, making everyone circle on their feet!
What a night, what a start of a beautiful weekend! And I had my Suzy all the way with me... thank you dear, thank you for sharing these moments with me, you are unforgetable!

You are more then welcome my man ;-)
